Empowering the active involvement of young people in the journey of self-development and outreach.

Creativity and Innovation

Seeking new and affective ways of supporting change that leads to growth and new opportunities.

Our History an Ethos

Checkin is a project within the Salesian family. It was founded and is supported by the Maltese Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco and works with the principles of a Don Bosco organization. In this context it seeks to create spaces that offer a “home”: where one feels free and accepted, a “playground”: a place where one can have fun an express solidarity, a “school”: a place where one can learn and take on responsibility, a”parish”: a place where one can search for meaning.

The main focus

The main focus is the work with and for young people, supporting them in their journey of personal growth and active involvement in favour of the community. Through a spirit of joy and optimism the project offers a welcoming space, open to all. It is willing to collaborate with other individuals and organizations in order to promote a better society where every person’s personal, spiritual and social wellbeing are valued and supported.
